Joseph Artero Cameron

Presently serving as the Executive Director of the
Hagatna Restoration and Redevelopment Authority, Mr. Artero-Cameron
is an individual who not only serves the people of Guam through
his involvement as a public servant, but also contributes much of
his free time helping those in need. He has served three Guam Governors
in the capacity of Directorships for the Department of Mental Health
and Substance Abuse, the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation,
the Department of Integrated Services for Individuals with Disabilities,
Executive Director for the Governor’ Commission on People
with Disabilities, Program Manager for United States Social Security’s
Disability Determination Services, State Official for the US Department
of Health and Human Services for Protection and Advocacy Systems
and a former Federal Law-Enforcement Officer for the United States
Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection
Artero-Cameron has frequently been involved with organizational
missions such as, the Rape Crisis Center, Goodwill Industries, Martin
Luther King Commission, Guam Community College Advisory Council,
National Association of State Mental Health Administrators, Developmental
Disabilities Council, Council of State Administrators for Vocational
Rehabilitation, National Organization on Disability, President’s
Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, Sexual Assault
Response Team Institute, Rehabilitation Advisory Council, Governor’s
Task Force on School-to-Work Transition Program, and Outstanding
Young Men of America.
